I have 4 acres that I want to keep looking somewhat nice. About 3 of the acres are in natural type grass with some rocks and fairly poor ground. the other acre is in planted grass. I also want to begin some landscaping which will require some dirt and rock movement. My long term needs are shredding the 3 acres and mowing the 1 acre. What kind of equipment would you recommend?

This may be blasphemy on this board but you might be $ and time ahead to rent a tractor to get the place cleaned up and landscaped. Then get a powerful zero turn mower to cut grass (much more efficient mower than any tractor). ....

Then get a powerful zero turn mower to cut grass (much more efficient mower than any tractor if you have many trees to mow around but it is a very specialized machine. No implements for dirt work or gravel or tilling.) ....
